Optical Instrument Manager (Full-time)

Job Description:

Jingce Electronic (USA) Co., Ltd. in San Jose, CA seeks Manager for Optical Instruments to lead a team of optical engineers to define, design and develop optical instruments for various measurements in display inspection and metrology, and to coordinate with marketing and FAE teams for marketing and promoting the products.

The Detailed Job Responsibilities Include:

Lead an optical engineering team for research, design, development, fabrication and calibration of optical testing instruments and inspection equipment in display industry;
Collaborate with marketing and sales team for product definition and competitive analysis in new testing instruments for future customer needs;
Collaborate with FAE team in product promotion to key customers;
Analyze the technology trend of testing instruments and display metrology.

Job Requirements:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus 10 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Experience and/or education must include:

Experience in managing a team or leadership in product development of optical instrument;
Familiarity with operating principles and designs of optical devices for display metrology;
Expertise in product definition, design, manufacturing and calibration of color and brightness metrology instrument;
Hands-on Experience in architecture and system integration of optical testing equipment;
Experience in team cooperation and customer service and product marketing of optical test equipment.

This position requires about 10-15% international travel to East Asia to coordinate projects, as well as coordination of teams located across pacific time zones.
